A fence is a thing that is usually put up to restrict movement or interpret boundaries of property lines. Fences also and purposes are many-fold including agricultural, privacy, security, decorative, landscaping, or temporary. The fences can also be constructed from any number of different materials including wood, chain link, barbed wire, picket, electric, were many, many other types of fencing and they may exist for any length of time including just for a few hours, for a predetermined period of time, or as long as somebody owns a piece of property. The fence is a help to give our world and our property definition and they are a great benefit to our flagging society that does not know how to follow rules. Fences up around perimeters help our young today understand that there are in fact consequences for their actions and there are in fact boundaries for them to adhere to.
Fences are best described by the type of situation which is afforded them. If a fence exists and a white picket variety on a grandma's farm to just help keep the animals out say or some other tame logistical reason then a fences look and overall position will be that of stately nobility and won't run up against any other inconveniences.
However, if a fence exists on the outskirts of forest surrounding a prison and the fence is borrowed wire, chain link, and 15 feet tall then the fences of purpose and the way we view the fence is set in stark contrast.
While there are many other considerations to be had for fences if you are interested in purchasing a fence you should consider researching the different types of fence before you do so. You don't want to get an electrical fence necessarily if a mother to fence would do to keep out predators. Electric fences are really sort of a last resort and should only be utilized in extreme conditions and circumstances. Also in terms of animal cruelty or a scathing letters from the ASPCA you don't want to put up a dog fence that is going to send electrical current through the dog and perhaps damage them to the point of no return. Dogs and wild animals are not smart enough to understand what the fence is all about and you probably should give them a little bit of a breather if you are going to put up a fence.
